Hello and welcome to Madame Levasseur, I am a Paris-based American designer for web design, logo design, digital wall art, coloring page design, and instant download logos – all of which you may find on Etsy or on my website The Paris Studio.
Until 2013 I worked as a web designer/developer/interactive designer in New York City. In 2013 I left NYC and moved to France to be married with the man of my life. Today I run my own design studio from home and feel very blessed to be able to do what I love for the past 20 years.
I was very fortunate to have started my career in New York City working for some of the best known brands in the arts and entertainment industries: Lincoln Center, NYC Met Opera, New York Philharmonic, Denver Center, some of the longest running Broadway shows (The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables and Miss Saigon) and world class recording labels like BMG and Sony Classical. Between 2000 and 2010 I worked for myself and built my own design practice out of my apartment in Manhattan with clients from all over the country. In 2010 I joined BN.com to lead UX Design effort for pubit!, the first self-publishing platform by Barnes and Noble.
Before moving to France in 2013, I worked for The Wall Street Journal Digital Network (Dow Jones & Co.) in New York City, where I led UX Design effort for Barrons Online & Barrons on iPad and was part of a team responsible for WSJ Mobile, SmartMoney Online, MarketWatch and WSJ.com. My 20 years of experience up to my time at WSJDN has sharpened my skills and fine-tuned my practices of bringing digital content onto multiple platforms in a dozen languages to millions of users around the world.
I hold a BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) degree in Marketing/Advertising from Baruch College, the City University Of New York. A self-taught artist, I spend my time away from the computers painting and drawing.
I look forward to working with you.
